Ivasha Knowledge
Dataverse Connected Power Pages: Managing Forums and Idea Postings
Every strong community starts with a good question. Ivasha gives people a welcoming place to share an idea, learn from one another, and turn useful conversations into knowledge others can find. This page shows how a contribution moves from first spark to a clear, discoverable answer, with trusted records behind the scenes and people guiding the journey.
How it works
A trusted path from question to answer
You bring the question. The community adds context. A Librarian helps shape what is worth keeping, and the finished answer returns to the portal in a form that is easy to understand and reuse. Dataverse keeps the trusted record while Power Pages makes the knowledge available to people.
Your contribution
Ask a question, share an idea, or describe an experience.
Trusted knowledge
Dataverse keeps the source record that the portal presents.
Human guidance
The Librarian helps clarify, connect, and route the contribution.
Easy discovery
Good answers become part of a knowledge base people can return to.
ERM / UML
A compact evidence layer, not a fake exact model
The diagrams below are intentionally split. The activity view describes the governed intake lifecycle. The sequence view describes responsibilities across Dataverse, Power Pages, the Librarian, and the Graphic Designer. Both diagrams are conceptual: they are not ERM exports and do not assert exact entity, relationship, namespace, or field names.
The journey
From a first spark to an answer worth sharing
A contribution becomes useful when people can follow its context, next step, and outcome.
- 1ShareAsk a question or post an idea.
- 2ShapeAdd context and connect related experience.
- 3ReviewClarify the useful answer and its owner.
- 4DiscoverPublish knowledge others can find and reuse.
Brings the voice
Questions, ideas, and experience start the conversation.
Keeps the record
The trusted source preserves the knowledge that the portal presents.
Shapes the answer
Useful contributions are clarified, connected, and cared for.
Welcomes the reader
Clear hierarchy helps people understand what to do next.
- Submit - forum or idea
- Triage - Librarian
- Review - SME or owner
- Publish - verified article
Conceptual activity flow for intake, curation, review, and publication. This does not claim exact Dataverse entities or relationships.
- Community - question or idea
- Power Pages - read or submit
- Dataverse - trusted content record
- Librarian - curate or route
Conceptual responsibility view. This does not assert exact route calls or schema fields.
Forum management
Forum posts and idea postings are governed intake surfaces. The page should explain how they are reviewed, how context is preserved, and how the eventual answer is linked back to the knowledge base.
Business analyst lens
The business-analyst persona path evaluates whether the intake supports real business action, whether it should be routed to knowledge, backlog, or another steward, and what outcome matters to the stakeholder.
Knowledge stewardship
The Librarian keeps the article source-aligned, current, and clear about what is proven by the repo and hosted smoke versus what remains a conceptual explanation.
Design system
The Graphic Designer should use hierarchy, spacing, and image choice to clarify the story. The visuals are support, not the claim.
Content flow
How the knowledge moves
- Someone submits a forum post or idea posting.
- The Librarian triages the submission for relevance, clarity, and knowledge value.
- The item is revised, approved, or routed to the right owner for follow-up.
- The updated knowledge is published back to the portal and kept in step with Dataverse.
Outcome
A governed knowledge article, not a prototype note
The goal of this page is to read like a stakeholder knowledge brief: grounded in repo and hosted evidence, honest about what is conceptual, and useful to people who need to understand the intake path, the review boundary, and the publication outcome. MD supplies the governed source material, the Librarian turns it into KA content, EA validates the architecture vision, and BA keeps the article anchored to business usefulness and operational follow-through. When the content changes, the direct Dataverse upsert path stays the fast publish lane.
